On the way back from the last impromtu [drive] I took, I saw another track going up a wadi. I checked it out on this particular Friday. I didn't set off until about 4pm which only left say 2.5 hours until sunset (give or take). I was going down a track hoping it would connect back to the loop where I wanted to go but it did not. I hit a dead end and had to backtrack on myself. I thought about if I had to survive out there for the night. That is a rather unrealistic scenario - I was always at most like 1/2 hour walk from someone's house. Or even sur itself (you can see on the map.)
